Discover LUCHA: Information Session
The LUCHA Leadership Initiative is a leadership development experience from Nonprofit Staten Island that invests in Hispanic nonprofit professionals while strengthening leadership within organizations serving Hispanic communities across Staten Island.
Join us for a virtual information session to learn what LUCHA offers, meet facilitator Deana Jean, and decide which opportunities may fit you and your organization. We’ll introduce the LUCHA Leadership Series — six in-person workshops beginning October 7 — and the Action Learning Experience, a smaller, application-based cohort.
The Leadership Series and Action Learning Experience are connected but distinct. You can participate in one without the other. Additional opportunities for mentorship will be introduced as the initiative progresses in FY27. Bring your questions; we’ll leave time to talk them through.
LUCHA is designed for Hispanic nonprofit professionals, as well as nonprofit leaders and staff whose organizations serve Hispanic communities.

Deana Jean

Deana Jean is a professional speaker, consultant, coach, and leadership trainer with more than 15 years of experience in sales leadership and training. Through Intentional Excellence Consulting LLC, she works with entrepreneurs and mission-focused organizations to build authentic connections and relationships that support intentional success.
Deana is collaborating with Nonprofit Staten Island as the Strategic Advisory Partner & Facilitator for the LUCHA Leadership Initiative.
