Each year, we host our highly anticipated Community Service Awards brunch for member organizations to thank volunteers and employees who deserve recognition for their outstanding service and dedication to the Staten Island community. It is a heartwarming celebration of our unsung heroes who have dedicated their lives to serving our communities. We share a delicious meal together while honorees are announced from the stage, their accomplishments shared with everyone in attendance, and they receive a framed award.  This year, we had the privilege of honoring 26 individuals in front of over 300 colleagues, family, friends, and nonprofit leaders.  

Past honorees have included: A Chance in Life, A Very Special Place, Bait-ul Jamaat House of Community, Blind Motherhood, Bridge Preparatory Charter School, Canvas Institute, Central Family Life Center, Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI), Eden II, Freshkills Park Alliance, Kaleidoscope Mode, Jewish Community Center of Staten Island (JCC), The GRACE Foundation of New York, Humble Heroes, La Colmena, National Lighthouse Museum, Natural Resources Protective Association (NRPA), National Council of Negro Women (NCMW- SI), New York Center for Interpersonal Development (NYCID), Person Centered Care Services, Pride Center, Project Hospitality, Protectors of Pine Oak Woods, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Soroptimist International of Staten Island (SISI), Staten Island Business Outreach Center (SIBOC), Staten Island University Hospital- Northwell (SIUH)
