We are thrilled to share that plans are underway for the Nonprofit Staten Island’s 11th Annual Community Service Awards Breakfast: Celebrating Our Borough’s Commitment to Serve. The event will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 9:30 AM – 12 PM at The Vanderbilt at South Beach, 300 Father Capodanno Boulevard, Staten Island.
We invite you to recommend an individual to be honored at this year’s event and share the moment with family, friends, and colleagues.
Each year, Nonprofit Staten Island, (aka SINFPA) hosts the Community Service Awards breakfast, a special event designed for member organizations to thank volunteers and employees who deserve recognition for outstanding service and dedication. Honorees are announced from the stage, their accomplishments shared with everyone in attendance, and they receive a framed award. Last year 19 individuals from over 15 organizations were honored in front of over 200 colleagues, family, and friends.
Past honorees have included A Chance in Life, Children’s Aid, Community Health Action of Staten Island, Eden II, Grace Foundation, IlluminArt Production, Integration Charter Schools, Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, Kaleidoscope, K Wood Foundation, National Lighthouse Museum, NYCID, Person Centered Care Services, Pride Center of Staten Island, Project Hospitality, Protectors of Pine Oak Woods, SIPCW, and Snug Harbor Cultural Center.

To submit an honoree from your organization — by March 10, 2023:
- Complete this form with the information requested – https://bit.ly/NonprofitSICSAHonoree23
- Submit a photo [1200×18000 in jpg format] of the honoree for the program booklet and marketing to stacy@sinfpa.org
- Purchase at least one table per honoree ($750/table) here – https://bit.ly/NonprofitSICSA2023. Payment due no later than April 15th at 5 PM.
- Please be reminded that organizations must be current Nonprofit Staten Island members to submit an honoree. If you are unsure of your membership/dues status, contact us before submitting. For now, one honoree per organization may be selected; additional space may open in late March.
