Flooding isn’t just a weather event—it’s a story of community resilience. Join us for an interactive workshop where we’ll explore real-time flood data, share local experiences, and turn insights into powerful messages for advocacy and action. Led in partnership with FloodNet NYC, this session is part of our broader efforts to strengthen climate resilience across Staten Island.
Participants will learn how to interpret flood sensor data, connect it to lived experiences, and craft compelling narratives to engage neighbors, decision-makers, and local leaders. This workshop is a key initiative of the Community Climate Corps (CCC), working to equip communities with the knowledge and tools to respond to and prepare for climate impacts.
Plus: Enjoy a light breakfast, enter our gift card raffle, and take advantage of Spanish-language facilitation and materials.
