Development Affinity Group – Sept 2026

Development work can look very different from one organization to the next but the questions, pressures, and opportunities often overlap.

Nonprofit Staten Island’s Development Affinity Group brings together development staff, grant writers, fundraisers, communications staff, and nonprofit leaders who carry development responsibilities as part of a broader role. It’s a space to compare notes, share resources, troubleshoot challenges, and learn from peers across Staten Island’s nonprofit sector.

We’ll kick off the new program year by reconnecting as a group and hearing what’s most useful to members right now. What are you working through? What do you want to learn more about? Where would peer insight, shared resources, or deeper discussion be most helpful? That conversation will help shape the topics we take on across this year’s five sessions.

Whether you’ve participated before or are joining us for the first time, this is a great session to jump in.
