Clean the Catch!

Help keep Staten Island’s catch basins clear this fall!

Clean the Catch brings volunteers together to remove leaves, litter, and other debris from around catch basins throughout Staten Island. Keeping these areas clear can help prevent catch basins from clogging and reduce the risk of flooding during heavy rain. Our goal is simple: to clean up garbage that might block catch basins and storm drains!

Volunteers will join us along neighborhood routes across Staten Island to clean up surface debris and help keep our communities cleaner and better prepared for severe weather.

No special equipment is needed. We’ll provide gloves, trash bags, and cleanup tools. Volunteers should bring comfortable shoes, water, and a can-do attitude!

Join us for one of our upcoming cleanup dates and help make a positive impact in your Staten Island community. Our first event will be October 10th from 10 AM to 12 PM.
