Leading in the Age of AI

Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how organizations operate—but adopting AI effectively requires more than technical knowledge. It requires leadership.

Join Nonprofit Staten Island in partnership with ComServ Connect for a practical conversation designed specifically for nonprofit leaders who are thinking about how AI will shape their organization’s operations, strategy, and capacity.

This session will focus on real-world applications of AI in nonprofit environments, helping leaders understand where AI tools can improve efficiency, support staff capacity, and strengthen everyday workflows, while also considering the ethical and operational implications of adopting new technologies.

Participants will explore:

Practical prompting strategies for large language models (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot)
Common AI integrations that may already exist within tools your organization uses
Structured AI workflows that can improve productivity and capacity
• Key considerations for responsible and ethical AI use

This workshop is designed for Executive Directors, senior leadership, and operations managers responsible for making strategic decisions about organizational tools and processes.

Please note: This session is not designed as a technical training for IT staff. Instead, it focuses on helping nonprofit leaders understand how AI fits into broader organizational strategy, decision-making, and day-to-day work.
