Community & Connection
Community and connection are at the heart of the LUCHA Leadership Initiative. Through workshops, mentorship, peer collaboration, and shared learning, the LUCHA Leadership Initiative creates opportunities for nonprofit professionals and leaders to build meaningful relationships and expand their professional networks.
Participants can learn from different perspectives, connect with peers and mentors, and build relationships that extend beyond individual programs. the LUCHA Leadership Initiative is designed to strengthen not only individual leaders, but the broader nonprofit community across Staten Island.
Action Learning Experience
The LUCHA Action Learning Experience is a smaller, cohort-based opportunity for selected participants to take their leadership development further by applying what they learn to real organizational challenges and opportunities.
Through facilitated discussion, organizational projects, mentorship, and peer collaboration, participants put leadership concepts into practice while learning from the experiences and perspectives of others. The Action Learning Experience is connected to the Leadership Series but is a distinct opportunity.
