Join the Community Climate Corps for a hands-on, family-friendly preparedness event designed to help you and your household get ready for hurricane season.

This event brings you inside a real evacuation center so you know what to expect before an emergency happens and gives you the tools to prepare in real time.

✔ Learn what to do before and during an emergency

Hear directly from trusted partners and agencies about:

• Flood risks and evacuation protocols
• How emergency communication works
• What families can expect during a crisis

✔ Pack a go-bag to take home

Take part in a hands-on “Pack Your Bag” activity—every household will leave with starter supplies and a clearer plan.

✔ Connect with local resources

Meet community organizations, ask questions, and access information to support your family before, during, and after emergencies.

✔ Family-friendly activities

• Dedicated space for younger participants
• Climate + preparedness activities led by trusted staff and CCC Ambassadors
