Wednesday, April 24, 2024 – 1PM – 3PM – 221 Port Richmond Ave.
Join Nonprofit Staten Island, the SI COAD coalition, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) for a free, hands-on workshop designed to help organizations kickstart their cybersecurity efforts. Many organizations have limited resources to invest in their cyber infrastructure and practices, so prioritizing is a must. Through a facilitated assessment and on-the-spot expert insights, participants will learn to identify and implement a limited number of essential actions with high-impact security outcomes.
Ideal for small- and mid-sized organizations. Strongly recommended for organizations considering a proposal for the 2024 Nonprofit Securities Grant and other funding opportunities to support strengthened cybersecurity.
CISA’s Cybersecurity Performance Goals (CPGs) are provided as an assessment and are a subset of cybersecurity practices, selected through a thorough process of industry, government, and expert consultation, aimed at meaningfully reducing risks to both critical infrastructure operations and the American people. You can learn more at CISA’s website and/or from their Linkedin Live CISA CPG discussion.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-person session. Participants will be required to bring a charged laptop to this workshop and pre-install the CISA assessment application.
